How One Toy Finally Made Pleasure Possible With Cerebral Palsy

Pleasure is rarely designed around disabled bodies. For someone with limited mobility, a toy that simply works can mean more than most people realize.

I don’t really know how to start this, because I don’t see a lot of people talk about disability and sex toys in a real way.

I'm gay, and I was born with Cerebral Palsy. My body does not always move the way I want it to. I’m in a wheelchair, and I have trouble with flexibility and some fine motor skills, so even when I want to try something, actually doing it can be a whole different story.

Finding ways to explore my body, especially anal pleasure, hasn’t always been easy. A lot of toys look simple when other people talk about them, but then I try them and it’s like… okay, this was definitely not designed with someone like me in mind. Sometimes I spend so much time trying to get comfortable that the mood is basically gone before anything even happens.

So when I tried the Lovense Hush, I didn’t expect it to be a big thing. I was curious, but also kind of prepared to be disappointed, because that has happened before.

But it actually worked for me.
I was able to get it in more easily than I thought, and that alone already felt like a win. Then I got to experience the kind of pleasure I had been wanting to try for a long time.

The remote features also helped a lot. I don’t have to keep reaching around or adjusting things as much, which makes a huge difference for my body. I can control what I want more easily, and if I’m with a partner, we can play with it together through the app too.

I’m still figuring out what works for me, but Hush gave me a way in. It made something that felt difficult feel possible.
