High Heel Fetish 101

You might think that adoring high heels (or having a high heel fetish) is only something that men do all I have to say is … Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo. Women will shiver at the idea of owning 5 inches of spikey footwear that instantly rockets their badass self-confidence into the stratosphere.

And some men will shiver, cum, and collapse just seeing them. Yes, today we’re looking at Altocalciphilia!

I also want to premise the article with my use of women is just for the sake of simplicity, but will include binary, non-binary, etc.)

WHAT IS ALTOCALCIPHILIA?

This is a sexual desire for high heels. It can involve sexual fantasies, deep urges, or even the necessity to have them present to get the blood flowing. But it’s not just the shoes themselves that are a turn-on, it can include more detailed elements such as…

  • Design – Someone might love one style but have no sexual desire toward a different style of high heels. For example a pump versus a sandal.
  • The Foot – How the foot looks while in the shoe. This can be anything from clean and well pedicured to even dirty.
  • Material – Shoes come in a wide variety of materials. So it makes sense that there could be a haptic preference between things like leather or velvet (for example).
  • Smell or Taste – If this one is hard to understand, just imagine the joy of smelling a new book or the rush of a “new car smell.”
  • The Sound – Audio connections of the clicking sound high heels make across the floor, or even stomping around, can be sexually potent.
  • Age – Some people might prefer brand-new shoes while others like them more worn-in.

FACT: According to Jimmy Choo and Gucci, a low heel is less than 2.5 inches (6.4 cm). Mid heels are anything between 2.5 and 3.5 inches (6.4 and 8.9 cm). Any shoe higher than that is considered a high heel. According to the clothing industry, any shoe between 2–5 inches is high-heeled.

HIGH HEEL FETISH – IS IT NORMAL?

Absolutely yes! As far as fetishes go, it’s one of the more common ones too. Besides, I don’t think one can be human without some sort of fetish in one degree or another. It’s just part of a normal sex drive. Besides, there are clear physical changes that happen when someone wears high heels.

  • The breasts look larger because walking in heels forces the person to have a straighter posture, even an over-arched back. This makes the boobs go forward more.  The shoulders also go back, which adds to an air of confidence.
  • The calves and bum tense which can be a primitive mating signal or just add to a curvy allure.
  • The hips sway more and even take on an undulating motion. This is from the smaller steps. Any focus put on this area tends to be appealing.
  • They add height. And some people go crazy over taller people.

Some people might argue there’s a darker side to this fetish – that it creates a situation that makes it harder for a woman to run away. However, this is a small, disturbed proportion of the population. Most approach it with adoration and respect. Many even take on a submissive role the moment high heels appear.

FACT: The largest high-heel shoe on record measures 3.96m (12 feet, 11 inches) long and 2.82 m (9 feet 3 inches) tall. Created by Dido Fashion Club on April 20, 2019, this giant shoe was meant to highlight the artistry of shoes.

SPANNING PREFERENCE AND HISTORY

The high heel fetish is one that spans the entire sexual umbrella. Gay partners have commented that one or both love to wear high heels. Straight couples have said the same.

Another interesting fact is other fetishes like toe or foot sucking often go hand-in-hand with Altocalciphilia.

And while we’re shouting out random high-heel facts, here’s another one that will blow your mind…

“Foot and high heel fetishism occur more often during times of sexually-transmitted epidemics, according to a study conducted by Giannini et al. (1998) at Ohio State University.

During the gonorrhea epidemic in 13th century Europe, the Western World syphilis epidemics in the 16th and 19th centuries, and the AIDS epidemic, non-genitalia objects such as shoes and feet were considered a safe alternative to more typical forms of sexual contact.”

HIGH HEEL FETISH – END THOUGHTS

As you can see, this fetish isn’t just normal, it’s one of the more popular ones. It also has no boundaries of sexual preference. And considering the craftsmanship that goes into some of these pieces, it’s easy to see why some people want to worship them.
