Technology has brought us a long way from outdated video games – and even sex toys. Now we can fuse the two and have an unforgettable (and often delightfully sweaty) gaming experience. With this in mind, I present to you the review of the Projekt Melody game and how the Lovense sex toy integration.

So with a market that’s as saturated as webcamming, the American company, Tectexel, came up with a unique idea to carve out their own, trailblazing niche. Instead of a real-life human, they made a 3D model avatar – a virtual camgirl.
The design was based on anime and manga styles – funky purple hair, brilliant blue eyes, and petite body proportions. Projekt Melody’s main job is to entertain and even engage with viewers on various live-streaming platforms, including Twitch and Chaturbate. She can respond to audience comments and perform various actions, such as dancing, singing, and playing games.
Now, there’s no pleasing everyone.
Her January 2020 debut had a mountain of mixed reactions. Some viewers were goo-goo at the novelty and technological advancement of the avatar. Others criticized the creation and its impact on human performers in the industry.
But the ones that loved the idea clearly were in the majority because the number of followers and subscribers skyrocketed. Her unique nature and capabilities sparked curiosity and interest from both the gaming and adult entertainment communities. And not just that, she’s inspired other virtual cam girls and showed just how much potential there is when tech meets the world of adult entertainment.

With the streaming platform being so popular, it was only a matter of time before a game would follow – and a spicy one at that! This is where a UK developer, BIG BANG Studios comes in.

Currently the playable game is a demo/prologue only (I’ll write about my playthrough later in the article), but depending on what level of Patreon you get, you’ll get access to a Steam key for when the game releases. Or you can just wait for the game to come out and buy it. Your choice J
The release promises a fully customizable main character as well as seasoned and established hentai voice actresses for each character (with Melody voicing herself of course) – this includes reaction sounds during sex scenes.
The story is your average hentai waifu dating game but with a few twists. Aside from exploring Cyberspace (which is a semi-open world) and all its carefully crafted, one-of-a-kind zones, there’s also the main storyline of defeating a virus that is ravaging the land. This virus is also a sexy avatar (called Melware), by the way.
Through this first-person hack-and-slash combat you’ll have plenty of unlockable weapons, is, ranged combat, and even a cursed sword. You need to save infected citizens and cleanse the world.

All in all, you’ll be wooing whatever character floats your boat (some want to be dominated, some want to dominate you, others are just romantic) you’ll be fighting, interacting with Melody, doing interesting side content, finding unique characters, and even stumbling across Easter eggs.
Playing The Demo – My Two Cents
First, I need to preface that I am playing on an old dinosaur of a laptop – with no chance of an upgrade in the future. So my problems with the gameplay are purely personal. But if you are like me you might have the same issues.
The first problem I encountered was the drivers, to be updated because the game has issues with certain older drivers. Without the update, the game was slow and choppy. But once I updated it was a lot smoother. My computer also overheats easily which does make the game laggy. So make sure you are playing on something with better airflow and fan set-up than my old heap of a laptop.
Okay, now on to the actual game.
The controls are fairly easy – with a keyboard, it’s a WASD situation with your mouse changing your viewpoint. There are also icon instructions on the side to remind you.
This is especially important because you can left-click to advance a scene. For example, when you wake up and see Melody sleeping beside you, you’ll need to click to move the scene forward. Otherwise, she’ll just keep sleeping.
You can start things with an intense sexual encounter. Or, you can tell her to go back to sleep – this will skip over your morning delight and let you fast forward through the prologue a bit more. You’ll see dialogue options at the bottom of the screen. Use whatever you want, but I did notice that some responses made a little white icon (which sort of looks like a flower) appear beside Melody. I’m assuming this is a response to like the most.
The sex scenes are obviously graphic – but that’s the point of the game.
Some might find the dialogue cringy when it comes to her pillow talk, but for anyone who’s done any sort of dirty talk, it’s actually pretty decent writing. Even some of the things she says are on-point for the fact that she’s a self-aware, cam girl. In fact, some of the things she says made me laugh (in a great way). So kudos to the writers.
When you’re done playing with Melody, you move on to the next part – and realize that you were interacting with this sex pillow that had her face on it. Fantastic! The game sends you on very simple tasks to let you figure out the mechanics in a non-patronizing way.
The last task is to jerk off to whatever content you choose. But when you do, you’re transported to a digital world and find yourself face-to-face with a floating vagina … that has wings. I know … just go with it. I won’t say much more, in case you want to try the demo yourself. But that’s where the play ends, for the moment. The entire game will be available when it’s released on Steam.
Personally, I think I would really enjoy this game in its full version.
Primarily because even if it’s a harem game, there’s a lot of variety in the waifu characters. I haven’t been able to try to combat so I can’t speak to that. But if it’s decent that will be even better. So when this game comes out in full I’ll add an update to this article.
There is also a Sandbox option where you can build your own home and do lots of naughty stuff inside. But I didn’t get a chance to try it that much – mostly because my laptop couldn’t take it.

Lovense is always on the hunt for fun adult content that has great potential for sex toy interactivity. In this case, it was a no-brainer because there are a TON of sexual encounters to get your jollies off. But do you need a toy to play this game?
Absolutely not. You can play this game as is and let your hands do the work. Final, Slippery Thoughts
If this game can deliver what it promises (specifically being one of the biggest high-quality games ever created) it should be quite an accomplishment and a great game to play. And having a sex toy hooked up we’ll make it even more exciting.
On a personal note, I hope they stay away from things like loot boxes, payable upgrades, grindy leveling, or repetitive and/or pointless quests. I say this mostly because big-world games will usually have a problem with one or more of these pitfalls. Mostly because it’s been “done in other games” so some people feel it needs to be put in their game. However, this just might be my paranoia talking.
But what BIG BANG Studios seems to know (and quite well) is that they’re dealing with a name and product that is very well known, beloved, and even highly protected by some of its fans. I’m sure they know they have to do it justice. They also have a Patreon tear that allows people to be alpha or beta testers. So I’m sure that they are very open to player feedback. This is a good sign.
All in all, I like what I see – a lot. If you’re a fan of erotic or porn games, you’ll love this one.
