Those \u201cnaughty\u201d secrets that Cosmo mag constantly churns out?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at what people out there classify as a dirty guilty pleasure and then talk about why it all needs to stop right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#d70072\" id=\"sexual-guilty-pleasure-it-started-on-reddit\">SEXUAL GUILTY PLEASURE &#8211; IT STARTED ON REDDIT<\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to blatant honesty, there\u2019s no place like the vast string of Reddit conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it\u2019s no surprise that there were more than a few threads about our featured topic of the day. But what was surprising was the so-called secrets that people were confessing left, right, and center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were \u2026 not that crazy \u2013 at least not by internet standards. Here\u2019s a general summary\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Plenty of<\/strong> <strong>foot worship<\/strong>, which was all from men. They all varieties of women\u2019s\u2019 feet \u2013 from clean to dirty, well-kept to troll-like.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Tons of<\/strong> <strong>panty stuff<\/strong>. However, it didn\u2019t go into much detail beyond loving a pair stuffed into their mouths as gags or sneaking a sniff when their wife was in the shower.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>All kinds of insults<\/strong>. Mostly using the word \u201cslut\u201d or something demeaning. They were also mostly confessions by women.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Sex in public<\/strong>. Men mostly confessed this , and they loved getting down to business in a place where they could get caught.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Hentai or other kinds of cartoon porn <\/strong>\u2013 some furry stuff and lots of cross-cartoon pair ups like Scooby Doo with Brian from Family Guy.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Numerous physical acts.<\/strong> Choking, slapping, spanking, held down, etc.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Female domination.<\/strong> Like being squirted on or pegged. A few mentioned specific fantasies like being kidnapped and forced into sex with a women, even a few men.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Girls with dicks<\/strong> \u2013 but with very clear \u201cdisclaimers\u201d the guys weren\u2019t gay.<br><br><\/li><li>A few revolved around <strong>scat or being farted on<\/strong>.<br><br><\/li><li>So many mentions of <strong>swallowing cum.<\/strong><br><br><\/li><li><strong>Trap porn or hentai<\/strong> \u2013 believe it or not, I hadn\u2019t heard of this one. Turns out this is about a boy who looks so much like a girl that another guy is \u201ctrapped\u201d into sexual attraction with them. I had seen comics like this but the tern was new to me.<br><br><\/li><li><strong>Finally, I found a few that didn\u2019t seem so vanilla <\/strong>\u2013 being bitten on the dick during blow jobs, being kicked hard in the balls, being a \u201cfeeder\u201d etc.<br><br><\/li><li>There were also <strong>a few jokes<\/strong> like, \u201cAs someone with Catholic parents, all of it is guilty pleasure.\u201d<br><br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, more than one confession left me scratching my head. Mostly because I really couldn\u2019t get why people saw the acts as something to be shy, embarrassed, or ashamed about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One woman said how she felt bad about using her vibrator for a quick orgasm while her partner was out doing errands.  She went into detail about how, once in a while, she just needed to get off and then get on with her day. But she always felt bad about not including her boyfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The panty-sniffing husband I mentioned before also talked about how he would never tell his wife that he would jerk off after he caught a whiff of her undies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After all of that, I went on to explore Quora and a few other sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#d70072\" id=\"what-was-the-problem\">WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM?<\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe I\u2019m just desensitized by years of working in the sex toy industry. Perhaps it\u2019s my staunch defense of the \u201csex is healthy\u201d and \u201cfantasies are normal\u201d mentalities. But so much of what people were describing was actually very commonplace. They just thought they were in the minority and therefore complete weirdos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.pexels.com\/photos\/351127\/pexels-photo-351127.jpeg?auto=compress&amp;cs=tinysrgb&amp;h=750&amp;w=1260\" alt=\"sexual guilty pleasure\" width=\"804\" height=\"534\"\/><figcaption>Yeah, some people thought sex on a beach was weird.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Granted, it\u2019s wise not to tell your insecure, vanilla partner that you masturbate to fantasies of all her hot friends and family. But the huge swatch of shame was mindboggling. And if this small sample is a reflection of the utter lack of communication about sex between partners, well, I don\u2019t know. It just totally sucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And this is what needs to stop immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When something like simple fetishes (I\u2019m talking legal ones if you hadn\u2019t figured it out already) is vilified, then people get all secretive about it. The information they internalize might lead to something more transgressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, let\u2019s say someone is into dominating and they watch a ton of porn about it. These clips show none of the communication, negotiation, and safety measures that take place beforehand. They don\u2019t see the aftercare where the two actors are cuddling or giggling about the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Porn is fine as long as there is a clear understanding of the difference between that and real-life connections. But where does this understanding come from if people are too ashamed to talk about it and the internet is packed with misinformation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#d70072\" id=\"the-solution\">THE SOLUTION<\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s where I get into an entire contradiction in my own head.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On one hand, if someone uses language like \u201cdirty\u201d and \u201cguilty pleasures\u201d in a light-hearted way, then what\u2019s the harm in using it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then my brain goes on the other side of the fence and insists that for the mindsets to change, the language should change with it. And for even more of a noodle-twister, I remember that it\u2019s easy to say that we \u201cneed change\u201d but it\u2019s a huge battle to fight against decades of societal \u201cnorms\u201d, religious views, and a general lack of education about our own bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s at this point that I need a stiff drink while trying not to slip into my misanthropic mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much of this stuff that people are ashamed of is perfectly fine. There\u2019s nothing to hide in the closet or put on a cognito browser \u2013 especially if there\u2019s education behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><strong>What do think?
