However, like the latex buddies the guys (should not) keep in their back pocket, there are a few more things to know before you decide to insert things. Here are the positives and negatives of our little plastic baggies\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-pros-of-female-condoms\"><strong>THE PROS OF FEMALE CONDOMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"no-side-effects\">NO SIDE EFFECTS<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Other than the possibly itchy, annoying allergy (which I\u2019ll talk about later and probably give way too much personal detail about), there aren\u2019t really any side effects. Keep in mind, I\u2019m not including things like tearing\/breaking because you decided using your teeth was a good idea, or not bothering to check the expiry date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"nono-to-infections-mostly\">NONO TO INFECTIONS, MOSTLY<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Things like the patch, shot, IUD, and other sticky, pokey, or prescription-y things can be used to prevent going into baby-mode, but these don\u2019t protect against STIs. Ladies\u2019 condoms do the same thing the boy\u2019s ones do (with a 95% success rate, if used correctly).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"breakage\">BREAKAGE<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Okay, okay. Yes, I said that part about using your teeth \u2013 and it\u2019s still true! \u2013 but that doesn\u2019t change the fact that they are sturdy pieces of contraception and right up there with male condom endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"no-prescription\">NO PRESCRIPTION<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Nope, you don\u2019t need to walk into the doctor\u2019s office and announce you want a Femidom so you can have anal sex while watching old news reruns as you are hooked up to a car battery \u2026 or whatever. They are super easy to get and, assuming you get a cool checkout clerk, 100% weirdness free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"female-condoms-girl-power\">FEMALE CONDOMS = GIRL POWER<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>One could argue that a woman carrying a normal condom is taking control of her sexual safety and power; however, the dude still needs to put it on. Then, there is the thing \u201cghosting\u201d that some assholes do (where they pull it off without you knowing and then continue \u2013 vile). A women\u2019s condom goes inside the woman, so she in complete control of the contraception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"get-it-on-early\">GET IT ON EARLY<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Another wonderful benefit is that these little guys can be put in up to 8 hours before intercourse. This means you don\u2019t have to fiddle with lubed-up hands and trying to open a packet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"you-can-wait-a-moment\">YOU CAN WAIT A MOMENT<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Men\u2019s condoms should be taken off right after (before you even cuddle and especially before you fall into a post-coital slumber), and the other version is the same \u2013 but you do have a bit more time remove it. Just make sure you take it out the right way \u2013 not the messy way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"more-pleasure\">MORE PLEASURE<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>This is twofold. First, being in control of their own bodies and safety, girls can relax more. And if you didn\u2019t already know, relaxation is a major key to sexual pleasure. The second part is about the ring on the outside. Some reports say that the friction against the clit can be a wonderful thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"more-dude-pleasure\">MORE DUDE PLEASURE<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Male condoms need to be snug enough that it won\u2019t slide off \u2013 it\u2019s not like a chokehold on your dick or anything, but with the girl kind, there\u2019s more \u201cfreedom\u201d and different sensations. Some guys might like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-cons-of-female-condoms\"><strong>THE CONS OF FEMALE CONDOMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"female-condoms-are-a-stupid-price\">FEMALE CONDOMS ARE A STUPID PRICE<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>These baggies cost WAY more than the more common male kind. They can run anywhere between 2 to 5 dollars. Ouch. It\u2019s some sort of chicken and egg thing \u2026 that we really don\u2019t care about, but either they cost more because people don\u2019t use them or people don\u2019t use them before they cost more. Sigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"you-fail\">YOU FAIL<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Okay. I\u2019ve seen numbers all over the place. It\u2019s like a bingo game for female condoms safety percentages. Even so, if you use them the wrong way, your protection levels go from a nice 95%(ish) down to a 21% failure rate. Don\u2019t get it? That\u2019s okay. I failed math class too. Basically, 21 out of every 100 will get pregnant if used incorrectly. You can up the changes by adding foams, jelly, or cream contraception with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"less-study-buddies\">LESS STUDY BUDDIES<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>No idea why, but the girls\u2019 condoms aren\u2019t studied or experimented with as much as the male ones. Weird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"female-condoms-have-drainage-issues\">FEMALE CONDOMS HAVE DRAINAGE ISSUES<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>You need to stay on your back when taking out the condom, otherwise \u2026 you might find the contents of the bag leaking out all over the floor. Have fun cleaning that up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"size-and-fit\">SIZE AND FIT<\/h3>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in;\">The inner and outer rings are tricky to learn how to put in.<\/li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in;\">The outer ring can slip out of place during sex<\/li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in;\">The guy can accidentally slid past the out ring (if not positioned the right way)<\/li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in;\">They\u2019re also one size only, but that doesn\u2019t really matter too much.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"female-condoms-snap-crackle-amp-pop\">FEMALE CONDOMS SNAP, CRACKLE &amp; POP<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Heehee. Okay, this one is just funny. Since it IS a baggie and not something fitting tight against your vagoo walls, there can be crackling and other noises during penetration. Think of scrunching a sandwich bag as you screw or rolling around on your grandmother\u2019s plastic-covered furniture.
