You\u2019ll find people, in any BDSM practice, you hold so true to their own ways, that they leave no room for other ways by other people \u2013 even if those ways have no bearing on other people. Meaning, I have literally met people who\u2019ve said, \u201cGentle? Well, you\u2019re not really a Dom then.\u201d Or \u201cThat\u2019s not really BDSM.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You find these people everywhere, even in non-BDSM things. \u201cOh, you drink red wine (of this brand) from 2014? Well, you know nothing about wine then.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But guess what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t frigging matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People are allowed to like their own food, own brand of wine, and own style of kink. If you are interested in gentle domination, don\u2019t let anyone tell you it\u2019s \u201cwrong\u201d. I\u2019m also going to probably trigger some readers and flat out say that those kind of people are either snobs or uneducated about the kink world. Just like they have the right to play how they want, you have the right to play how YOU and your partner want. Period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
