I will also add the disclaimer that <strong>I received this for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>QUICK SPECS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The brand is \u201cOuch\u201d<\/li><li>Length = 5 meters<\/li><li>Diameter = 4mm<\/li><li>Stretchy silicone<\/li><li><strong>From\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/diskretadultlife.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">diskretadultlife.com<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>THE PACKAGING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.lovense.com\/UploadFiles\/file\/20190726\/20190722_122433_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"-104\" height=\"-69\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The packaging is what you would expect from an adult product \u2013 heavy on the black and some sort of sexy form sporting what\u2019s inside. It\u2019s a simple item, so simple packaging works fine. There\u2019s no need for padding or foam since it doesn\u2019t need protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will say that if I wanted to look at it from an eco-friendly standpoint, you could reduce the dimensions (although that would cut off space for the multi-language instructions). But that\u2019s neither here nor there when it comes to the actual rope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>SIDE NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> It\u2019s quite twisted when you take it out of the plastic wrap, but a few gentle pulls straightens it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>TESTING IT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.lovense.com\/UploadFiles\/file\/20190726\/20190722_124207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"448\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"color: #95a5a6;\">Even with tying it snugly, there&#8217;s still a lot of stretch.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing I noticed was the silicone had <strong>SIGNIFICANT stretch<\/strong> \u2013 comparable to a stiff rubber band. This could be considered a pro or a con, depending on who was using it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You (obviously) cannot use this as you would hemp, jute, or even cotton fiber (like in Shibari). The friction of silicone rope makes it really hard to pull across it, and any pulling across the skin would, at minimum, cause serious discomfort.&nbsp; Besides, rope forms need something with strength and hold to sit properly against the body and not slide to areas that could cause damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind, however\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The packaging is very clear about the three ways you can use it\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Wrist cuffs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Ankle cuffs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. As a whip\/flogger<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will add a fourth \u2013 some simple cross bands over the leg, thigh, possible the forearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>I tried all three and these were my reactions\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It\u2019s better to wrap either ankle or wrist cuffs with the rope folded in half (doubled, like you would in Shibari). This makes it much easier and faster to complete the cuff and helps reduce pinching.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It\u2019s best to use as much of the rope as possible when making a cuff restraint because it helps reduce the ability for the wearer to stretch out or distort the wraps. It\u2019s also safer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Unless you take it very slowly and are very careful, you will not get the perfect looking cuff like on the packaging \u2013 especially if the wearing enjoys struggling.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;It doesn\u2019t have to look perfect to be functional.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A hairier partner WILL feel the pull against the skin.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wraps should not be tight (you don\u2019t want to compromise circulation). Any \u201csadistic\u201d wrapping on the leg or forearm should not&nbsp;be left on the body too long \u2013 I had mine for less than a minute and I already had deep marks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It works <strong>great <\/strong>as a whip\/flogger and is high on the \u201csting\u201d levels.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It needs to be washed thoroughly after each use, but it&#8217;s&nbsp;easy to do so. Also, dry thoroughly and store in a bad to avoid more lint attaching to it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Can <strong>never <\/strong>ever be used in suspension &#8211; only as an aesthetic addition that will have no load-bearing responsibilities,<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>Want to learn more? Here\u2019s what they said\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;I really like it for flogging, but not tying. The impact sensations are fun.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;The simple cuffs are fine, but I don&#8217;t like the sensation of the silicone as rubs against itself when trying to tie it.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;It&#8217;s interesting. I like how easy it is to clean &#8211; WAY easier than shibari ropes.&#8221;<\/li><li>&#8220;I could be something fun to add as a mouth gag (since it&#8217;s easy to clean).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, when I first showed them the product everyone was really excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>PRO VS. CONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Affordable (all things considered)<\/li><li>Easy to clean and sterilize<\/li><li>Fun if you want to be sadistic<\/li><li>A different sensation against the skin<\/li><li>A good addition if you are a rope collector<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gathers dirt and debris like a magnet<\/li><li>Not beginner-friendly<\/li><li>Limited to two cuff forms<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>CONCLUSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the \u201climitations\u201d, I like this product. &nbsp;I think it would look great in photos with a model wearing latex, PVC, or rubber (or nothing).&nbsp; It could look extra nice if you used various colors. I liked it as a casual kink product and something to use when I&#8217;m feeling a bit on the sadistic or mischevious side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will also add that if you get it, and don\u2019t like it as a bondage tool, it\u2019s still really useful for other things \u2013 I\u2019ve seen reviewers buy\/use it in similar ways to a light bungee cord.
