The toy brand is called \u201cS-Hande\u201d<\/strong> and is distributed by BestVibe.com<\/strong> \u2013 so it was as simple as typing the name into Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a Chinese company based in Shenzhen that specializes in sex toys. Their entire line seems to be silicone based toys \u2013 which is good. Also, they appear to focus on making toys under their own brand name, as opposed to the white brand stuff that can often disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, I know what you\u2019re thinking\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That something coming out of China will be crap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is far too often the case, but there are a few Chinese-based companies that are trying to churn out body-safe and respectable adult products. <\/strong>Their Alibaba site also has enough photos of their office, factory, and convention booths that I feel confident enough that things are legit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE PACKAGING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My gift came in a plain cardboard box \u2013 so nothing to worry about there. It was discreet enough that even the building doorman (which took the package for me when I wasn\u2019t home) didn\u2019t have a clue what they had tucked away in their office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The box itself has the S-Hande logo with decent packaging graphics. The back also gives you toy dimensions, pattern options, and company information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside was also what you would expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything was in a foam layer with cut-out sections for each element. I will say the cut-out was a bit softer and flimsier than other packaging I\u2019ve seen \u2013 but that doesn’t affect its protection or appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from the toy, there was the recharge cable, the remote control, an instruction page, and a customer \u201cthank you\u201d card that asks you for a product rating or feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE MATERIAL<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the distributor and manufacturer\u2019s site say that it\u2019s body-safe silicone. So, I did a burn test to double check.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SIDE NOTE:<\/strong> <\/span>Silicone will not melt under a flame. It will turn black, get ashy, or do nothing. Anything left over should wipe away and the material should be unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It passed muster with flying colors. I held my lighter to the end for a solid ten seconds and nothing happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as the ABS plastic portion, that\u2019s just referring to the remote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s where things get interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been against the idea of strapless strap-ons because they don\u2019t look secure \u2013 like they could slide out at any moment. So, when I finally used it on my partner (several times over a couple of days), I was blown away that things stayed in place perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The part that inserts into the vagina was comfortable and the thin \u201cneck\u201d part was a good balance between flexible and firm.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. The section that went into my partner was thick enough to feel good<\/strong> but not so big you would need extra time to relax in order to be able to use it.<\/li>
  3. We didn’t really notice the textures <\/strong>within the material, but they could have played a part without us knowing.<\/li>
  4. I had to guide the tip in with my hands but then gentle thrust the rest of the way to get the toy in \u2013 this caused some pressure and a tiny amount of discomfort on the bottom part of my vaginal opening<\/strong> but that passed as soon as it was in all the way.<\/li>
  5. I could feel the vibrations but most of those sensations were on my partner\u2019s end (which he loved). The vibes were also surprisingly strong.<\/strong><\/li>
  6. I found the remote simple to use and handy.<\/strong><\/li>
  7. I managed to orgasm, but it was a gentler version from the vibration run off <\/strong>and stimulation from thrusting.<\/li>
  8. The toy didn\u2019t slide out at all<\/strong> (the part inside me) or feel like it was going to slip out of place or rotate in weird ways.<\/li>
  9. I managed to get as much of the insertable part in as I could, but the thrusting range was limited<\/strong> (but still pleasurable).<\/li>
  10. There were a couple of positions that made us have to stop<\/strong> because it ended up hurting him. For example, laying on top (while he was on his back) was okay but if I tried to sit up, the new angle and pressure of the toy cause him a little pain.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    SIDE NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> One image suggested a man could insert the short end into the anus and the other end into their partner. I wasn\u2019t able to test this, but the holes are so close together, and the neck is so flexible, I think it could be possible. I will update this experience when I get the chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Clean up was easy \u2013 there are no bare parts to worry about water getting into so you can be as splish-splashy as you want. I just used mild soap and warm water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I will, however, note that you need to feel along the toy to make sure that you don\u2019t miss any bodily fluids.<\/strong> I thought I got everything the first clean, but when it dried I saw a white film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I\u2019ll also add that the toy AND the remote are charged with the same cable <\/strong>(which I like because that means I don\u2019t have double wires or little batteries to worry about).  Plus, the recharge connector is magnetic-based but strong enough that it doesn\u2019t slip off while sitting on the toy or remote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    NOTE:<\/strong> <\/span>Recharge time is around 2 hours, which is fairly standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
