Therefore,<strong> it\u2019s important to do as much research as possible beforehand.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost, however, makes it rare to find enough unbiased, in-depth reviews to know if you\u2019re making the right choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you\u2019re in the market for a mid-price machine (between $500-1000), here are my experiences with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/trysexmachines.com\/collections\/machineyourself\/products\/model-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Model 1 sex machine<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>DISCLAIMER: <\/strong><\/span>I received this machine and attachment extras free from&nbsp;Nikolai at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/trysexmachines.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">trysexmachines.com<\/a><\/strong> in exchange for my analysis as a sex toy professional, both the positive and the negative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>1. PACKAGING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_140506.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6827\" style=\"width:284px;height:378px\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p> My machine came in a simple brown, cardboard box that was stuffed full of thick foam to house all the pieces. The shipping box had the expected wear-and-tear from making its way from Australia, but the insides weren\u2019t affected at all. Not one scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Granted, the packing isn\u2019t as top-notch as, for example, the F-Machine. However, part of the price tag of the F-Machine IS the nice packaging and product branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So you have to ask yourself <strong>if it\u2019s worth it or important to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, I really don\u2019t mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also boils down to whether or not you\u2019re going to leave the machine assembled, take it apart after every use, or lug it to different locations (if you\u2019re into sex parties or things like that).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I asked what a possible solution would be, and Nikolai said that if sales of the Model 1 increased, he would be able to look into a <strong>special carrying case<\/strong> that would either be part of the purchase (at a higher cost) or an add-on purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>2. WHAT\u2019S IN THE BOX?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_120042-1024x729.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6829\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>The entire assortment of goodies included\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Secure packaging materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 short bars with attachment casing (made from solid steel, and, I THINK aluminum or plastic for the attachment part).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 long bars (made from solid steel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RPM box with cable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power cable with kettle plug<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extension rod<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allen wrench<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7-inch Vac-u-lock dildo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vac-u-lock attachment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll notice the absence of an instruction booklet or assembly diagrams, but Nikolai ensured me that regular customers would get one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>SIDE NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> I also got a saw adapter, but that\u2019s for a different review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>3. ASSEMBLY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115037-2-1024x423.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6846\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Assembly was pretty simple. The only thing that made it awkward was the weight of the motor casing, but it was no biggie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Unlock the clamps on the motor casing and slide the long bars through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Close the clamps (this is important because you don\u2019t want things sliding around).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Fit the long bars into the casings on the short bars (foot bars, feet, base?), and then screw them into place (with the aid of your Allen wrench) \u2013 make sure you make things tight (the bars won\u2019t slide out, but they could rotate).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Attach the plugs for the power cable and the dial box (each plug has a different end, so there\u2019s no worry about switching things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, the entire process, including looking up the picture and putting it together, took less than 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>5. THE PLUG<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115434-1024x674.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6830\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Remember, any machine you purchase will need to have the right plug for your country\u2019s outlet. If you buy something from <strong><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/trysexmachines.com\" target=\"_blank\">trysexmachines.com<\/a><\/strong> (or any other seller), make sure you specify whether you want <strong>a kettle plug with the correct prong or a plug adapter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And bear in mind that the plug from your computer or laptop won&#8217;t match either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>6. THE CONTROLLER<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115510-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6831\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p> You only have two things to worry about \u2013 <strong>a button and a dial.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The button will turn the machine on and off<\/strong> (and function&nbsp;as your emergency off button), and<strong>&nbsp;the dial will adjust the speed from 0 to 100.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I should point out that if you turn off the machine with the red button, but leave the dial past 0, the machine will start up at the RPM again once you turn it off. <strong>You need to dial the machine down completely first.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>7. THE MOTOR<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115238-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6837\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motor strength is solid with no stalling whatsoever<\/strong> \u2013 if you\u2019ve never tried the cheaper ones (that look like a nail gun), they sometimes stall if a woman has a strong vaginal orgasm and <em>always<\/em> cease up if a man thrusts against the masturbator. The Model 1 didn\u2019t. It kept plugging along. Good job, little guy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/span> Never force the thrusting rod \u201cin\u201d when it wants to go \u201cout\u201d. That will hurt <em>any<\/em> motor, even an expensive one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, if you\u2019re wondering what all the do-dads on the side of the machine are&#8230;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>#1 controls the motor <\/strong>(DC Motor Controller)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>#2&nbsp;is the motor<\/strong> (DC Motor)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>#3 makes the motor quiet <\/strong>(plastic worm gear)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>VOLTAGE:<\/strong><\/span> The adapter (the one that\u2019s part of the power cable) allow for use between 110-240V, which means it will work anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>8. HEAT TESTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>I ran the machine through three hurdles. Low, high, and actual use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. After<span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"> <strong>20 minutes on the LOWEST setting<\/strong><\/span>, the (2) DC Motor were warm and the (3) plastic worm gear was very warm. I would compare it to holding a cup of tea (warm but not uncomfortable).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. After <span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>20 minutes on the HIGHEST setting<\/strong>,<\/span> the (2) DC Motor was very warm and the (3) plastic worm gear was hot. I couldn\u2019t do more than a \u201clight tap-touch\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. After <span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>20 minutes of actual use and varying speeds<\/strong><\/span>, the components reacted as expected \u2013 quite warm (an in-between of the previous tests).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, first, it\u2019s not surprising. This is a \u201cmid-grade\u201d fucking machine (high-grade would be thousands upon thousands of dollars), so it stands to reason that the motor can handle mid-grade use \u2013 meaning <strong>you can run it for a fair amount of time<\/strong> but not for hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But keep in mind that the fast setting is REALLY fast (100rpms). 30+ minutes at those levels, you should be more worried about skin chafing or friction burns. Still, if you\u2019re going to run it for a while or multiple partners, avoid touching the motor. It\u2019s always best to err on the side of caution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>9. NOISE LEVELS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180709_120032-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6833\" style=\"width:207px;height:276px\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p> For a sex machine, <strong>Model 1 is surprisingly quiet <\/strong>\u2013 WAY more than the old (cheap) one I had. Out of the two, I would say the <em>person <\/em>would end up the louder part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decibel test was\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ambient room sounds<\/strong> = 42.7 \u2013 42.9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Machine noise levels <\/strong>(1 inch from the motor, not being used on a person) = 71.9 \u2013 72.8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not bad. Not bad at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>10. GETTING INTO POSITION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity aligncenter is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115711-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6838\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Model 1 has the same \u201cgetting intimate\u201d process as any new fucking machine \u2013<strong> the adjustments and fine-tuning. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This takes time but is essential. And, although you can do it the first time by yourself, I recommend <strong>having your partner with you to make it easier.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/spinel-app-controlled-ultra-high-speed-thrusting-vibrating-dildo\">thrusting dildo<\/a> sex machine goes like this\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Get into position, insert the toy, turn the machine on low, see how you feel, remove yourself from the machine, make adjustments, add more lube, slide yourself back in \u2026 wash, rinse, repeat a half a dozen times or more until you find the magic spot. It\u2019s a fair amount of work. But, like I said, if you have a second person, they can do it for you and you can stay in position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, there are two choices\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> <strong>Leave the machine in that position<\/strong> and threaten to flog anyone who changes your settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Go through the same process<\/strong> in different positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, if you have one of these, why in god\u2019s name would you only use it <em>one<\/em> way. After a few sessions, you\u2019ll know where exactly to raise or lower things.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>TIP:<\/strong> <\/span>Try using a permanent marker to mark the bar positions for faster adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>11. ME USING THE MACHINE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_120753-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6835\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The first time I tried it, I had it on the (wood) floor. The rubber ends on the posts kept it firmly in place. It didn\u2019t move an inch. I started on the shallowest, slowest thrust, just in case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, <strong>Model 1\u2019s starting speed is snail slow<\/strong> \u2026 which is GOOD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no \u201cjerking\u201d to start, and the speed was comfortable enough I didn\u2019t have to worry about getting poked the wrong way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, I tried it on medium thrust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The start was, again, slow and fluid. Turning up the speed didn\u2019t result in any drastic thrust changes (another positive). There was enough time for me to \u201cfeel\u201d out the RPMs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think it was <strong>around 50 that the first orgasm came<\/strong> \u2013 a good one. But best of all, it didn\u2019t stall the machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>mind-blowing climax came around 70<\/strong>.&nbsp; I never got to 100, it got too intense for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>12. MAN USING THE MACHINE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There were two tested positions<\/strong> \u2013 straight (on his knees) and angled down (sitting on the floor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The downward angle also didn\u2019t stall, however, <strong>the machine ended up rocking back and forth <\/strong>enough that I had to hold it in place. The instability was reduced when we adjusted the arm to have more shallow thrusts instead. When he was on his knees (and the machine was level) there were no \u201crocking back and forth\u201d problems at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing that impressed me the most was when I let my boyfriend \u201cthrust\u201d, it (for the most part) didn\u2019t affect the power\/motor. I will note, however, that <strong>you can\u2019t go <em>crazy<\/em> with any hip movements<\/strong>, and if you\u2019ve positioned yourself too close to the rod, you might end up pushing the rod back in a little when it\u2019s trying to go out (which happened for him a couple times). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users have to be reasonable with their expectations \u2013 meaning, if you want something you can thrust against like a crazy person, you\u2019re going to need to spend way more money on something way more powerful and sturdy or use a masturbator on its own. Because any \u201cpushing in while the machine is trying to push out\u201d will strain on everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, he loved it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>13. ON THE BED<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovense.com\/sex-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/20180723_115645-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6840\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s where people might be surprised\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You really shouldn\u2019t use a fucking machine on a bed.<\/strong> They\u2019re meant for use on solid\/sturdy surfaces like a floor or a table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flexible nature and padding of a mattress will make any machine bouncy around (as the Model 1 did) \u2013 which isn\u2019t safe. If you\u2019re hell-bent on ignoring this advice, at least make sure the frame is at its lowest point and the thrusts are on low power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>14. UPRIGHT POSITION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>I was intrigued when I saw images this toy pointing up \u2013 allowing for someone to stand over the toy and engage in a different position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried to copy the idea, but it didn\u2019t work out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the rubber ends on the long bars (which are important to make sure nothing slips around) won\u2019t come off \u2013 I didn\u2019t want to put too much effort into separating them just in case there was something under the rubber I couldn\u2019t see (so that one might be my fault).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that one end won\u2019t fit into the base casing. Even if I was able to get it off, when the clamp is shut, there\u2019s not enough room for it in between the toy case and the floor. The machine would only go vertical if I unclamped things, but then the machine wouldn\u2019t stay upright. If I tilted it to the side, to make room for a closed clamp, the weight of the machine would still rotate and fall over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>15.
