Aside from a good night\u2019s sleep,<strong> decent bedding is important for you sexcapades.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>Heat or cool<\/strong><\/span>&#8211; you won&#8217;t want to be too hot or cold<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>Durability<\/strong> <\/span>&#8211; sheets need to go through many rounds in the washing machine and not fall apart<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\">All-around comfort<\/span> <\/strong>&#8211; the feeling of rough sandpaper is not sexy&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s pull back the covers and take a closer look\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>TRADITIONAL BEDDING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>THREAD<\/strong> <strong>COUNT<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Thread count is the number of vertical (\u201cwarf\u201d) and horizontal (\u201cweft\u201d) threads woven into a square inch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In general, <strong>the higher thread count, the better the material<\/strong>. It will be <strong>softer<\/strong>, endure more washes (sometimes getting <em>softer<\/em> over time), be more breathable, and be all-around more comfortable.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll also want to aim for something over 200 (the highest being around 600, but some people argue you can go as high as 800).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But beware\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you see anything higher than 800 (even 600-700), chances are you\u2019re getting ripped off. A legitimate 250 blend should be 125&#215;125, but<strong> some manufacturers will take cheaper, less durable threads, twist them together and up the TC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>EXAMPLE:<\/strong><\/span> Taking 5 threads, twisting them, weaving them into a 125&#215;125, then saying it\u2019s 1250 thread count. You just end up with more of a bad thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\">MATERIALS&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The best cotton in the world comes from Egypt.<\/strong> After that, it\u2019s Prima, which is made in America, Australia, or Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, make sure they are labeled as <strong>100% Egyptian\/Prima cotton.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the same companies that lie about thread count will weave a <strong>small amount<\/strong> of good cotton into the sheets (as low as 5-10%) but charge you through the roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cotton-Polyester blends will endure better, won\u2019t wrinkle, and be more affordable. But they won\u2019t breathe very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Forget the clich\u00e9 satin or silk sheets<\/strong> \u2013 they\u2019re slippery and hot AF. You\u2019ll wake up drenched in sweat (and not from any fun bedroom antics.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>QUALITY AND QUANTITY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember when I said high thread counts are good? Well, quantity doesn\u2019t always mean quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have bedding that is a real 200 TC of legitimate Egyptian cotton, it will be a million times better than 800 TC of poor quality material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>It\u2019s about the THREAD.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Single-ply, long or extra-long staples, 180-300 TC, E\/P cotton<\/strong> will be something akin to sleeping in soft, smooth, warm butter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>BUDGET&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It won\u2019t be cheap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expect to splurge hundreds of dollars (e.g. $200 for a good, full set).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These, however, will last you a very long time \u2013 and you might end up saving more money than if you had bought several cheap sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>EXTRA TIP:<\/strong><\/span> Some people claim <strong>the best weavers will be<\/strong> <strong>Italian<\/strong> (long history of textiles). It doesn\u2019t matter. The only difference would be needing a wash or two to get the pattern and colored ones to relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I heard someone claim that red is a turn-off, but I still think that\u2019s personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d70072\"><span style=\"font-size: 26px;\"><strong>OTHER FACTORS&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>STANK ISN&#8217;T SEXY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure to change and wash your sheets <strong>once a week.<\/strong> It may sound like a no-brainer, but it\u2019s sometimes easy to forget, especially if you\u2019re busy and all you can do is open the door and fall on your bed after a long day at the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\">UNSCENTED DETERGENT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is more for if you\u2019re single and wanting to bring people back to your place. Keeping the sheets unscented will <strong>reduce the risk of allaric reactions or sensitivities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>PUT ON ANOTHER LAYER<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A memory foam layer will help disguise\/muffle creaking mattress sounds (if you\u2019re worried about people hearing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0099;\"><strong>TRY A LATEX MATTRESS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve never tried them, but apparently <strong>natural\/organic latex<\/strong> mattresses are very comfortable and supportive (especially for sex) \u2013 not to mention having a longer life than other styles.
