At first glance, this little wand looks rather harmless\u2026 Until you touch your vagoo with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to tradeshow connections<\/u> (and my co-worker) and managed to get my hands on the Zumio, a sex toy \u201cmade by women, for women.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s go over the reasons you NEED to get your hands on this toy…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST IMPRESSIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zumio is a sex toy that doesn\u2019t look like one \u2013 if someone found it in your bedroom, you could get away with the lie that it\u2019s a face massager or milk frother (because you like your midnight lattes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s actually quite nice looking. The purple pen-like toy has enough weight (for its size) and doesn\u2019t feel or look cheap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE PACKAGING    <\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s nice to see another sex toy company that pays attention their packaging. The white and purple forms are sturdy and the graphics are well designed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, you\u2019ll find your Zumio, a charging cable and charging cup. There\u2019s also a bag and instruction pamphlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE CHARGING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charging port \u2026 housing \u2026 cup? The white thing you put your toy in. Normally, I don\u2019t need the need for anything other than a charging cable and resting the toy on my nightstand, but with Zumio, the \u201ccup\u201d makes sense (taking extra care to make sure the tip remains undamaged).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During charging, the toy base does get VERY WARM<\/strong><\/span> (not hot, you can still touch it). I looked on their website, and enough people have shown concerned that they had to include it as the first item in their FAQ list.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From what I\u2019ve ready, there\u2019s nothing to worry about it being toasty warm while getting some juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE DESIGN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s not much in the way of ergonomic challenges to overcome since it just ends up being a thick pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However<\/em>, I will say that the figure 8 buttons are easy to feel and press during use<\/strong> \u2013 there\u2019s no fumbling around. The slight curve is also a nice touch and makes places easier to reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those of you who travel, the lock-out<\/strong> option (hard press power button for 5 seconds) is also a blessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also worth noting that you should only use WATERBASED lubes<\/strong> with this toy (then again that\u2019s a good rule for ANY sex toy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PATTERNS AND VIBRATIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THERE ARE NO PATTERNS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am SO happy about this. While there are a few<\/em> women who enjoy patterns (mostly for foreplay), most of us can\u2019t stand them<\/strong>. Instead, there are 8 power levels (although I couldn\u2019t get past the first one).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something else to understand about Zumio doesn\u2019t necessarily vibrate, more concentrates the \u201chigh energy density<\/em>\u201d to the tip. That\u2019s why you don\u2019t feel sensations radiating to other areas around the contact zone \u2013 hence the pin-point action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE USE AND REACTIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Okay, when they say \u201cstart on the lowest setting\u201d you should \u201cSTART ON THE LOWEST SETTING<\/strong>.\u201d <\/span>Even for those of us who are self-proclaimed power queens, this is not like other toy <\/em>and shouldn\u2019t be treated as such.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vibrations are so concentrated<\/strong>, that direct, right-off-the-bat clit stimulation isn\u2019t possible \u2013 unless you have a less-than-sensitive clit or are in some sort of BDSM torture scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s tutorial videos suggest that you use the stylus section of the toy to stimulate the surrounding vaginal area until you are warmed up enough.<\/strong><\/span> After that, slowly circle in on the clit. Once you\u2019re ready, move the tip directly beside (or on) the clit and wait for a pretty intense orgasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I couldn\u2019t go directly on the clit \u2013 it was WAY too much, and this was on low! Placing it right beside was very very<\/em> pleasurable. It delivered quick and intense orgasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, the contact was so much, that I could only go for one round. Multiple orgasms are not on the docket for me and this toy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “made in China” thing might put some people off<\/strong><\/span>, but since it\u2019s a North America<\/em> company that is exporting to their own soil (as well as other countries with stricter regulations and expectations), I\u2019m confident that they are keeping the material and manufacturing quality in check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This confidence is also backed up by the fact that Zumio is making itself known at various sex toy trade shows<\/strong> as well as hosting strong, online champagnes \u2013 and not some anonymous seller hiding behind an Amazon account or a generic sex toy distributor that sells everything from nipple clamps to house slippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
