I\u2019ve already talked about these in the all-inclusive article about Kegel Balls<\/em> aka Ben Wa Balls.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, rather than looking briefly at a bunch of them, I wanted to take a look at one in-depth, mostly to point out what you should buy or avoid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s look at this model: <\/strong>Duotone Kegel Balls\/Geisha Balls<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a perfect example of what NOT to buy<\/strong> and why you have to be careful of Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST RED FLAG –<\/strong><\/span> It\u2019s easy to spot when the seller sells A LOT of varied products \u2013 we\u2019re talking cross-dressing bras, to Halloween masks, to bath slippers. But I went ahead and got one because it was cheap, and I was more interested in tearing it apart than wearing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE PACKAGING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not the cheapest I\u2019ve seen \u2026 but it\u2019s pretty close. It also has none of the labelings on the Amazon page. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDuotone<\/strong>\u201d is a keyword used by a few other well-known brands or familiar models \u2013 including LELO. When you look it up, you\u2019re inundated with a pile of options and no definitive answer as to what they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sites or sellers will tack it on for hits, which is why we ended up with this questionable, substandard packaging that was discolored and pixelated like someone\u2019s 10-year-old nephew was taking their first Photoshop lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to mention the wording on the side of the box progressively gets worse in spelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE MATERIAL<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silicone, my ass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, 100% silicone coating<\/strong> isn\u2019t that<\/em> cheap to make (at least not for the price tag of 5 bucks, give or take). My skepticism was confirmed when I opened the box, whipped out my lighter and burned the little bastard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melt-city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT NOTE: <\/strong><\/span>For those of you who don\u2019t know, when you burn 100% silicone, it should leave a bit of ash behind or maybe a light scorch mark<\/strong> that should rub off. But it shouldn\u2019t melt like a snowman in summer. If it does, there are other materials inside, probably some kind of plastic or other chemicals that will be bad for your vagoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sneaky company even wrote, \u201celastomed<\/em>\u201d on the side, which I\u2019m guessing what their attempt at saying \u201celastomer<\/em>\u201d or \u201celastomated<\/em>\u201d which means there\u2019s been extra product added to make it soft and pliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, that was a huge, shady fail right there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But let\u2019s keep going anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE DESIGN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only thing that disappointed me more than the shoddy material was the construction of the balls themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201csilicone\u201d casing just sits on the inner, ABS balls, which means that all bodily fluids WILL get under there and no amount of washing will get it 100% sterilized. Keep in mind that this case isn\u2019t meant to come off and go back on again \u2013 I had to cut the damn thing off \u2013 but it’s not molded enough or tight enough on the casing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ABS balls were snapped together like one of those flimsy kinder eggs, and I would bet dollars to donuts that liquid could get through there too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sloshy balls. Yummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weight was just a weight \u2013 it wasn\u2019t recycled iridium, but I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if it was something questionable. However, the black coating over them was only half-finished. Possibly someone on the assembly line thinking it was \u201cgood enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE CONCLUSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I originally said it might be good to try once and then throw away, but now I only want to throw it away \u2013 mostly because we have no idea what material is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only PROS I could see were the pull cord and lightweight nature of the balls, which would be good for beginners. However, there WILL be something out there that\u2019s better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in all, my rating for these would be LIES\/10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
